Weather Safety at the Keller Sports Park

The Keller Sports Park has a lightning detection system with two alerts: an audible siren at first detection and a visible strobe light while lightning is in the area.

• ▸The siren means lightning within 10 miles
• ▸All fields and dugouts must be cleared — no players, coaches or officials remain
• ▸Families are encouraged to wait in cars
• ▸Delays last 30 minutes after the last detection
• ▸A second siren gives the all-clear
• ▸Any new strike restarts the 30-minute clock
